How Much Water?
Allow the soil of your plant to dry our between waterings. As a member of the succulent family, Pileas don't like soggy soil.
How Much Sun?
Pileas like bright, indirect light, but can adapt to lower light areas, however lower light will cause your plant to spread out and the foliage to be less dense.
Best Temp & Humidity?
Pileas are easygoing about humidity and will do well at regular home humidity levels. These plants will do well at regular home temperatures, but prefer to not drop below 60 F. They also don't react well to sudden changes in temperature or humidity so they prefer to not be placed near heat/AC vents.
If the tap water in your area tends to be 'harder' this can cause your pilea to develop white spots on its leaves. if this happens try switching to distilled, or leaving the water to stand overnight to help reduce some of the chlorine and fluoride.
Pileas are generally no-toxic to humans and animals, but if eaten in large quantities, it can cause stomach upset.
